- When an ENS name expires it will go into a grace period of 90 days, you will see it in your wallet but will not have access to sell it, while in grace period you are allowed to extend registration.
*Anyone is allowed to extend a registration.
-
If the name is listed for sale & it goes into grace period anyone is allowed to extend the registration on the name & it can be purchased.
-
Once the grace period is over & no one has extended registration the name will then be available to the general registration with a temporary premium dutch auction starting at $100,000,000 decreasing over a period of 21 days exponentially until the premium is gone.
- If you want to take a look at names that are expiring or have expired already you can visit @ensvision and select “categories” then you will see on the bottom right “expiring” & “expired”.
